We started to use Answer 4u so that our patients could leave a message when the practice is closed,with a real person rather than an answer machine. We were surprised when we started to log the times people where calling the practice, potential new clients might call the practice at 11.00 at night to leave a message, so it is great surprise when they get through to a real person who takes their name and number and then e-mails the message to the practice so we can call then 1st thing
the next morning.

For emergency patients, Answer-4u sends a text to the person on-call so that they can be called to arrange a visit with the emergency dentist.

All in all we've found the service to be a great addition to improve the service we offer all our customers.

I have been using an answering service since 1996 as I felt that as a small business just startingout I was not always available to take calls. I found it very frustrating that even if I recorded a nice professional message people would still not leave a message on the phone and if they did thequality of the playback was not so great or they forgot to leave their phone number which wasvery frustrating! Answer4u is the second telephone answer service I have used as I feel they are approachable and good value for money, what more they value the small business which some otheranswer services only want the big guys!

I feel that using the service of Answer4u is my life line – I do not feel chained to the desk as I know my customers are in capable hands with their staff. I have had many comments from customers saying what helpful “staff” I have which is just what I want them to think!

The set up was very painless and I can be a techno shy when it comes to different things, the instructions were clear to follow and if I have a problem I will call them. All I had to do is providea “blocked” for them to work from which over the years has changed slightly to capture the right information I required.

I feel by having an account manager (Emma) has been the key to making the process run smoothly. Any changes I need to make I always go through her and she implements them straight away.

So if you are a small company and you are looking at using and answer service I would highly recommend Answer 4 u for their professionalism and value for money. I have done many hoursof research looking for the right firm to represent me and I will continue to use them for the foreseeable future as they are the best out there!

It is impossible to staff every hour of the day and the international nature of our business means we receive calls at all hours 7 days a week. We also have surges in calls in the morning which exceed our line and staff capacity.
